Returns & Refunds Policy

At Squared Mesh, every piece is created to order. As many of our products are personalised, bespoke or made specifically for an individual customer, they cannot usually be resold once produced.

Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Made-to-Order & Personalised Products

All Squared Mesh products are produced to order.

This includes:

  • Personalised artwork
  • AI-generated artwork
  • Artwork created from customer-uploaded images
  • Artwork created from customer-uploaded audio files
  • Bespoke commissions
  • Standard collection prints produced on demand

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, products made to a customer's specifications or produced to order are generally exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period.

For this reason:

  • Orders cannot usually be cancelled once production has commenced.
  • We do not accept returns for change of mind.
  • We do not offer refunds simply because a customer no longer wishes to keep the item.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring all uploaded content, personalisation details and order information are correct before purchase.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives:

  • Damaged
  • Faulty
  • Defective
  • Incorrect as a result of an error by Squared Mesh

please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

We may request photographs of:

  • The product
  • The packaging
  • Any damage or fault

to help us assess the issue.

Resolution Options

Where a claim is accepted, Squared Mesh may, at its discretion and subject to your statutory rights, offer one of the following:

  • A replacement item
  • A repair
  • A store credit or credit note
  • A refund where appropriate or required by law

Our preferred remedies are replacement or store credit wherever reasonably possible.

Artwork Approval & Customer Errors

Customers are responsible for checking:

  • Spelling
  • Dates
  • Uploaded files
  • Personalisation details
  • Artwork previews

We cannot offer replacements, refunds or credit notes for:

  • Customer spelling errors
  • Incorrect information supplied by the customer
  • Poor-quality uploaded files
  • Customer-approved artwork
  • Changes of mind after ordering

AI-Generated Artwork

Some products may incorporate AI-assisted artwork generation.

As with any creative process:

  • Results may vary from expectations
  • Minor variations may occur
  • Similar outputs may be generated for other users

Refunds, replacements or credits will not be offered solely because an AI-generated design differs from a customer's subjective expectations where the final product substantially matches the approved artwork.

Lost Deliveries

If your order appears to have been lost during transit, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will investigate with the delivery provider before determining the appropriate resolution.

Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method used at checkout.

Approved refunds are normally processed within 14 days.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.
